Visitors to the Inkcups booth will be able to use the Antigro Designer Print Customizer, an intuitive, cloud-based software that allows for easy and creative customization of drinkware. Once the designs are complete, the Helix® ONE printer, a state-of-the-art cylindrical UV inkjet printer, will bring these creations to life with on-site printing. In this blog, you’ll find a step-by-step guide on how to easily and quickly design your own unique latte cup. This process will allow you to test out the Antigro Designer technology as well as the Inkcups direct-to-object printer. Plus, the personalized cup you create will serve as a memorable keepsake from the PRINTING United Expo.
Each attendee at the expo can design their own unique cup in two different ways. The first option is to use the stationary kiosk available at the Inkcups booth (C2749). The second option is to scan a QR code displayed at the booth with your mobile device and create your unique latte cup design directly on your smartphone.
The design process is the same on both the kiosk and mobile device, and it is incredibly simple and intuitive. At the same time, it allows you to experience the Antigro Designer print customizer from the perspective of the end customers of your print shop or online store.
Step 1: Choose one Template from the Available Options
In the first step, you can choose any template as the foundation for creating your unique latte cup design. This selection offers a variety of styles and layouts to suit your creative vision. If at any point during the design process you change your mind and decide you want to work with a different template, don’t worry—it’s easy to go back and make a new choice. You have full flexibility to return to this step and select a different template, ensuring that your final design perfectly reflects your preferences.
Step 2: Customize Your Latte Cup Design
You can start designing your personalized latte cup by selecting a background color. This first step allows you to set the tone for your design, whether you prefer a bold or subtle shade.
Moving on to the next section ‘Feces‘, you can add to the template the photos you want to include. In the case of a template with placeholders for faces, the AI technology will automatically crop the faces from the photos you upload. You can freely place them within the template area and adjust their size so that the design looks according to your preferences.
Next, in the ‘Filters’ section by selecting individual images placed on the template (by clicking on them once), you can apply the available photo filters and adjust the brightness, contrast, and saturation of each face image.
Additionally, in the ‘Graphics’ section, you can add more of your own photos or images to complete your project. If you want to create a mug that can serve as an interesting promotional item, you can use this space to add, for example, your company logo to the design.
The next step, in the ‘Text’ section is the optional addition of text to your project. Here, you can add a caption to your mug to give it an even more personalized and unique touch.
The final section, ‘Clipart‘, allows you to enhance your almost-complete project with additional clipart. You can choose from various categories and select an image that will perfectly complement your design.
